Welcome to MNPS Early College High School website! We are housed on the campus of Nashville State Community College. Our school is an inclusive community that values the voice of students, teachers, parents and community members who support our students in the pursuit of their academic endeavors. Our school is dedicated to educating its students as whole persons so that they may lead productive and exciting lives. We encourage our students to reach for his or her highest potential. The high expectations we hold for them are based upon our confidence in our abilities to provide a challenging environment within a physical, emotional, and intellectually inviting climate.
We are committed to helping each student learn to be intricate thinkers, self-directed learners, collaborative workers and effective communicators. We hope our students find MNPS Early College High School to be a place where he or she develops intellectually; learns interpersonal skills; and establishes personal connections to their world in pursuit of their post-secondary goals.
We are aware that academic and extracurricular excellence is accompanied by moral responsibility. Therefore, we pledge to be responsive to the diverse needs, abilities, and capabilities of our student body. Keeping those in mind, we will strive to prepare our students not only for achieving personal growth but also for coping with transition in our rapidly changing society.
